FORMAT
54 holes of individual stroke play.
CHAMPIONSHIPS AND TEES
Players will compete in one of the two championships being conducted concurrently at Yahnundasis:
- 89th NYS Women's Amateur Championship - White Tees (6,045 Yards || Par 73 || 75.9/133)
- 10th NYS Women's Mid-Amateur Championship - Red Tees (5,358 Yards || Par 73 || 72.1/125)
CUT INFORMATION
There is a cut after 36 holes to the low 50% of the field in each division and anyone within 10 strokes of the lead

PAIRINGS
Pairings for Round 1 will be available on this website and emailed to players on Tuesday, July 3.
REGISTRATION
It is requested that players register in-person at Yahnundasis on Tuesday, July 10. At registration players will receive important information for the event, receive their tee gift, and have their profile picture taken for online scoring.
If a player cannot register in person on Tuesday, please register by calling the NYSGA office at (315) 471-6979.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
A complimentary practice round is available on July 10, 2018.
To register for a practice round, click on "Practice Round Signups" under the "Pairings" menu option. Enter the code sent to you and select your name from the search bar and click on the open time you wish to register for. If you require assistance, please call the NYSGA office at 315-471-6979.
If you are unable to play a practice round on this date, additonal times are available. The pricing and availability of these practice rounds is set by the host club. For more information, call the Yahnundasis pro sho at (315) 732 - 3950 and identify yourself as a participant in the NYS Women's Amateur.
RANGE
The range will be provided complimentary to players and available starting at 6:45am.
GOLF CARTS
The cart policy for this championship has been established by the committee as follows:
- 89th NYS Women's Amateur Championship: The use of carts by players and caddies is prohibited for all championship rounds. A player may use a cart during a practice round.
- 10th NYS Women's Mid-Amateur Championship: The use of carts is approved for all championship rounds.
The cart fee is $20 and is must be paid for before each round in the Yahnundasis pro shop. beforeeach ro.
"ONE-SEAT" CART POLICY (MID-AMATEUR)
The NYSGA's "One-Seat" Cart Policy permits player’s caddie the opportunity to assist the player during play. For example, the player’s caddie may drive the golf cart if the player chooses to walk, move the cart for the player from green to tee, etc., so long as the player and the player’s caddie are not riding in a golf cart at the same time. GOLF CART REQUEST FORM FOR DISABLED SPECTATORS AND CADDIES
If a disabled spectator would like to use a golf cart, they must complete and return the NYSGA Golf Cart Request Form (Click Here).
PULL CARTS
The use of pull carts, whether manual or electric, is approved for both championships.
CADDIES
The use of a caddie is permitted in both championship.
ON-COURSE WATER & SNACKS
Water bottles and fruit/snacks will be provided on the golf course for players/caddies only.
CONTESTANT LUNCHES
Lunch will be provided for all contestants on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:45am until 2:30pm. Contestants must check-in at the registration table at lunch to receive this complimentary meal. Lunch will be served in the Yahnundasis clubhouse.
Lunch for spectators and caddies will be available for purchase at $20 per person (cash/check).
AWARDS
Trophies are awarded to the winner and runner-up in both championships.
REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds issued after the close of entries.
CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION AND LOCAL RULES
Listed below are several important Conditions of Competition and Local Rules for this competition.
- Notice to Competitors: Please check your starting tee for the Notice to Players and NYSGA Hard Card.
- Conforming Clubs and Balls: Visit the USGA website (www.usga.com) for a list of approved golf balls and drivers for the competition.
- Distance Measuring Devices: Are permitted.
- One Ball Rule: The “One Ball Rule” will not be in effect.

DRESS CODE
The NYSGA will strictly enforce a tournament dress code with no exceptions. Collared shirts/mock turtle necks are required, and no jeans, denim, jogging outfits, or sweat pants are permitted.
PLAYER CONDUCT
Players and/or their guests must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner at all times. Any excessive display of anger, vulgar language, club throwing, alcohol abuse, illegal drug use, lack of golfing etiquette or disrespect to a fellow player or any other individual may be grounds or disqualification from any tournament. The NYSGA reserves the right to revoke a player's tournament entry, without a refund, at any time for conduct deemed inappropriate or damaging to the NYSGA.
